Correction made to reported race/ethnicity breakouts for Infant Mortality indicator.

When selecting multiple report areas, county-level data for race/ethnicity breakouts of the Infant Mortality indicator were incorrect. The error has been corrected. Race/ethnicity figures for states, the US, and aggregated county-level areas are correct and remain unchanged.

Improvements made to all indicators using data from the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS).  Update pertains to California service areas only.

Denominator corrected for Teen Births (Under Age 20) indicator. Denominator values are added to the report for informational purposes only – the benchmarked indicator values (birth rates) are unaffected by the change.

Walkability indicator data now benchmarks using “Percentage of Population in Car Dependent cities” as a benchmark. Note: Data is available for select cities only.
